Amidst a lot of speculation, actress Ramya was banned from kannada films for a period of one year on Tuesday night, which was a collective decision, taken by Karnataka film chamber of commerce. But the surprising fact is that, the ban is being imposed on an actress, who declared her retirement last week.

Actress Ramya, who is also known as Divya Spandana, has declared that the film industry inn India, is not a good place for women, to work in. she added that, it was gender biased and she became a victim of a blunder created the KFCC.

Meanwhile, producer A ganesh has been asked to return the money, which he took from Ramya a few months back (almost in June 2011). The issue in between Ramya and producer A.Ganesh turned into a big spat and was blown it of proportion. Ramya feels that, she will be busy with her Malayalam and Tamil film commitments and will return to sandalwood, for the sake of her fans in March 2012.
