I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this blog's family over the last couple of years. The journey has been such a wonderful ride. It has been such a joy to visit everyone and comment on your lovely creations. The inspiration everyone bring to the table is one of the reason we all keep coming back week after week. Time slips away and sometimes It is hard for me to comment on every single player, but please know that you are all appreciated and make running this site a true pleasure. To the teams, players and of course our sponsors, I Thank you for being part of this fabulous world of MM blogging and I am so excited to see what 2011 will bring for our players as well as all of these new teams below. 

NEW 2011 MMDT

I would like to introduce you to the newly formed Senior MMDT. This group of ladies has been a joy to work with and many of them have been with the team since the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge was born. I appreciate each of them so much and I am thrilled they still want to hang out and share their wonderful and talented crafting here with everyone. Sadly a few of our long term team members will not be continuing with the 2011 team as life takes us in many directions. We wish those wonderful friends all the best and you will be missed.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah CELEBRATES 500th episodes

‘500 kee lambee race’ of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Neela Tele Film’s daily Comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completed a very successful 500 episodes run on SAB TV on Thursday 16th December 2010. And to celebrate the same, producer Asit Kumarr Modi threw a party at Firangi Pani.

There was a huge cake and on it was the Logo of Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah drawn. Photograph of Asit Kumarr Modi and columnist Tarak Mehta Ji adorned the two glasses of this Chashma (glasses).


Entire venue was decorated with family pictures of different families of Gokuldham Society.

Adapted, conceptualized and produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, serial has till now tackled many pertaining social issues with comic relief and loads of jest. “During this journey of five hundred episodes we have had complete support of our entire cast and crew. Everybody has put their best foot forward to get Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to this height. I would like to give special thanks to Dilip Joshi for giving this show a special dimension. I would also give thanks to Shailesh Lodha, Disha Wakhani and the team of our writers for their efforts. It’s been a constant uphill task to maintain the standard but even our audience have been very interactive and have given their feedback regularly. So many times we have tried to incorporate their suggestions too. I will also thank the MSM Network and the entire team of SAB TV channel for their continuous support,” comments Asit Kumarr Modi.


Adds he, “amongst the daily comedies, world’s number one comedy show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah TMKOC is first to have completed 500 episodes and is still going strong.” In fact each and every character in this comedy show has become a household name in India and overseas. This topical social comedy was inspired from a very popular column ‘Duniya ne Oondha Chashmah’ by Tarak Mehta in a Gujarati daily.



Neela Tele Films has been at the helm of successful shows like Hum Sab Ek Hain, Yeh Duniya Hai Rnageen, Meri Biwi Wonderful and Saarthi. Besides Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma another serial currently on air by Neela Tele Films is Krishnaben- Kahakhrawale’.

‘Kaalo’wood in Bollywood

The special screening of the daylight horror film Kaalo turned out to be a stupendous one where many faces from the television world were seen enjoying the film.

Anoop Soni was the earliest one to arrive


Followed by the team of CID, Shivaji Satam and Aditya Shrivastav.



Kabir Sadanand too was spotted at the premier of horror film Kaalo



Swini Khara looked beautiful in a blue dress followed by her parents and relatives who had come to sheer the girl’s performance in her first ever horror film. Wilson Louis, the director of Kaalo walked in alone. Raj Zutshi was seen chatting with Anangsha Biswas. Chetan Ghade waled in with model-actress Sunaina. Gaurav Gera and Rajesh Khera were heard sharing a few ghostly stories


While Sharad and Kirti Kelkar heard them quietly.



Jayantilal Gada was seen with director Satish Kaushik who walked in a little late but didn’t miss a single minute praising about the film later. Ruslaan Mumtaz walked in alone and was on the phone most of the time, perhaps narrating the story to someone. Yash Tonk walked in minus his better half Gauri as she was too scared of horror films he said. Achint Kaur mingled with Yash and Mamta Patnaik.


It was nice to see Ganesh Acharya after a very long time.



Monisha Khatwani, Manasi Verma could not just stop laughing over Siddharth Kannan’s witty jokes. Karan Tracker bonded with young actor Prashant Kumar.


Actress Tripta Parashar and Madhurima shared their Kaalo experiences with the guests who were later joined by actors Satish Sharma and Aditya Lakhia. The evening was a graceful one and the movie turned out to be really scary as one could make out from everyone’s face and their reactions. Scare for more?

The Fat Indian Wedding

Bollywood blesses lyricist Sameer's daughter Sanchita on her wedding with Abhishek at Sun & Sand Mumbai


Lyricist Sameer and his wife Anita were jubilant to organize the wedding of their elder daughter Sanchita with Abhishek at Sun and Sand Juhu Mumbai.

The reception started on time. Moreover 'The Bachchans' - Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan too came on time to bless the couple.



Entire music fraternity came to bless the couple. Few Bollywood music industry stalwarts who graced the reception were:
